One of our favorite places! Only about 2 hours away from Castle Rock, Breckenridge is a really cute ski town! Even without skiing, they have great restaurants & shops, snow activities, gondola rides, and is just fun to walk around in and take in all the pretty views. Another great town to visit. Rocky Mountain National Park is located here. While most of it is closed in the winter, it is still a pretty cool area to visit if you have an extra day or two.
