A few Bumble swipes later, Jordyn and Kyle met in NYC and had a very memorable, but brief, summer together before deciding it was best to go their separate ways. They were both still in college at the time, navigating different paths but hopeful they’d stay in touch.

They hadn’t seen each other in three years when Kyle decided to visit from Montana. Jordyn may have snuck this picture in when he wasn’t looking.

Fresh off their Miami reunion, they took their first official trip as “travel buddies.” Kyle casually mentioned that he’d move wherever Jordyn wanted so they could be together. (Side note: if anyone is looking for the best BBQ of their lives—go to Austin.)

They planned another trip, this time Kyle stayed in Florida for two weeks. During that visit, Jordyn agreed to move wherever he wanted… but completely panicked when he asked her to be his girlfriend. Fun fact: this picture was taken the first time Kyle met Jordyn’s parents.

They randomly picked Dallas as their next place to meet, probably for more BBQ, let’s be honest.

On their next trip to Montana, after Kyle asked Jordyn to be his girlfriend (and she panicked—see a trend?), Jordyn romantically asked Kyle to be her boyfriend… in the cafeteria line at Yellowstone National Park.

Kyle took Jordyn on a motorcycle ride through Teton National Park - that's one way to win a girl over!

Jordyn and Kyle eventually decided to spend a year together in Charleston, South Carolina. Kyle drove from Montana, and they spent their first Thanksgiving in a tiny hotel room filled with microwavable dinners and wine.

Jordyn and Kyle signed the lease for their first apartment together!

During their first year together, Jordyn and Kyle started the tradition of wearing matching Christmas pajamas!

And then they took a week long trip to Breckenridge, CO. This was the trip that made them reconsider everything and spend the following year traveling.

Jordyn and Kyle drove from Florida to Boulder, Colorado, kicking off a road trip that was originally intended to last just one month.

And even though everyone told told them they were absolutely insane (which, to be fair, they might be), they got a 3-month-old German Shepherd just one month into Airbnb hopping and road tripping. Welcome to the chaos, Bailey girl!

After Boulder, Jordyn and Kyle spent about six months in their home away from home, Bozeman, Montana. It was a season of firsts: hiking, skiing, raising a puppy, spotting bison and bears roaming casually, and making new friends. Bozeman will always hold a special place in their hearts.

Their third stop was Park City, Utah, where Jordyn and Kyle spent more time with moose than with people. It was an amazing summer with a lot of crazy views, hikes, and waterfalls.

Their fourth stop was Fort Collins, Colorado. At this point in their roadtrip, as much as they loved it, they were starting to crave some stability (naturally). They didn't end up staying in Fort Collins but did end up making great friends and enjoying what Colorado has to offer.

Jordyn and Kyle got engaged! Somehow, Kyle managed to pull off a picture-perfect proposal, in a state he had only been in for eight days.

Jordyn and Kyle were lucky enough to take their engagement photos in Rocky Mountain National Park.

In true spontaneous fashion, Jordyn and Kyle bought their first house together in Pennsylvania, sight unseen. Bailey finally got the backyard of her dreams!

Continuing the spontaneity, Jordyn and Kyle brought home another puppy, welcome, Archie! After all, what’s a little more chaos on top of buying a house and planning a wedding in the same year?

After years of adventure, many spontaneous moves, two dogs, and plenty of stories— The best part is just beginning. And if you’ve made it to the end of our story, you definitely deserve a glass of champagne. We can’t wait to celebrate with you. See you December 14th!
